In this article, we will explain how to set up users in your organization to make shoutouts for fans. There are three steps to this process:
- Authorizing users to make shoutouts
- Customizing your users' shoutouts
- Assigning shoutouts to your users
Authorizing users to make shoutouts
Before your users can start making shoutouts, you will first have to authorize each of them to do so.
- Go to Users
- Click the three-dot icon and select Greeting control
- Click the checkbox to activate the user to make shoutouts, set a cap on the number of shoutout requests the user can receive, set a price (will need to be greater than 0 even though shoutouts are not currently sold), and click Save
Customizing your users' shoutouts
Add a custom logo, background, image to digitally sign, and watermark.
- Go to Users
- Click the three-dot icon next to the user you want to customize shoutouts for
- Click Customize shoutouts
- Upload and save a logo, background (16x9 inch aspect ratio), signature image (8x10 inch aspect ratio), and watermark (added to shoutout videos). The logo, background, and watermark are optional. If you choose not to upload a background, the default background will be light grey.
Assigning shoutouts to your users
Assign shoutout requests to a specific user.
- Organize the shoutout requests according to this template (you can make a copy by clicking File > Make a copy). Please note that the "Note" has a maximum of 250 characters. If there is no Occasion and/or Note, simply add a "-" in these cells.
- Go to Users
- Click the three-dot icon next to the user you want to assign shoutouts to
- Click Assign shoutouts
- Choose your CSV file
- Click Upload
The shoutout requests will automatically be created and the user that they were assigned to can make the shoutouts by following the steps illustrated in this article.
